Things to Know
Payment & Cancellation
We require a $750 deposit to secure your spot. All deposits and payments are non refundable and non transferable. We cannot make exceptions to this.
For the initial deposit to secure your reservation, $750 is due at time of booking. 60% of the remaining balance is due Feb 1st and the final balance no later than 30 days prior to your arrival. If you book after Feb 1st, 60% of the reservation cost is due for the initial deposit. We accept all major credit cards and bank transfers.
Travel Insurance
Travel Insurance is highly recommended in case you need to cancel your reservation. Travel insurance offers coverage for unforeseen problems, from a cancelled flight to even a serious illness. Normally this must be purchased 24- 48 hours after booking- please check with your provider. Many of our guests use Travel Guard (www.travelguard.com).
Gratuities
We are often asked about ranch policy regarding gratuities, which are greatly appreciated. Each of our staff members operate on the premise that giving their best to each guest is a priority, including those working behind the scenes to keep the ranch running smoothly. This ensures you have the best experience possible. Gratuities are 15% and added to your account for the total. If you choose to tip above and beyond to the whole crew or those who were extra helpful, cash is always welcome.
Weight Limit
For riders is 200 lbs. This is for the safety and comfort of guests and horses. Contact us for potential exceptions.
Bringing Your Own Horse
We welcome you to bring your personal horses at no extra charge. We only allow mares or a geldings (no stallions please!) Any horses coming on to the ranch are required to have a current coggins (within the last 12 months), and proof of Rhino and Influenza shots within the last 3 months and no sooner than two weeks prior to arrival. You can bring your own hay or purchase ours for a small fee.
Gift Shop
We have a gift shop stocked with ranch clothing, educational books, gifts, quality riding equipment, and much more. Guests are able to put any gift shop purchases on their account to be paid at the end of their stay.
Housekeeping
For 5-day stays, there will be no daily housekeeping services to ensure your space stays private. Staff will pick up trash on Tuesdays and Thursdays. You can request needed items, linens, etc. with our housekeeper at any time. We can accommodate most requests!
Non-Riding Activities
We offer a handful of non-riding activities if guests need a break from riding based on the season. These could include, hiking, cooking with our chef, paddling the lake, fishing, veterinary or shoeing demonstrations, among potential ranch activities.
Dining
Breakfast is an upscale continental style with eggs & bacon to order.
Lunch is fresh made sandwiches and wraps or your choice of delicious left overs.
Dinner is served buffet style with hearty, healthy, ranch cooking. We can accommodate most diet restrictions. You will not go hungry with Chef Holly at the helm!
